Proof of Quality
We take immense pride in the unique opportunity we had to subject our newly crafted Bashir Oud to a thorough quality proofing examination and compare its sound quality to the original oud of the legendary Munir Bashir. The original oud, made by Mohamed Fadhel in 1957 in Baghdad, holds historical significance as the first-ever floating bridge oud in the modern history of this instrument.
This examination took place at the prestigious instrument makers department of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. The sound test was conducted by the esteemed professors of the department, with the accompaniment of Omar Bashir, showcasing his mastery on both ouds.
We are delighted to share that the results of the examination have been tremendously positive. The sound and construction quality of our newly crafted Bashir Oud demonstrate remarkable similarity to the original oud. This serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence in reproducing the essence of the legendary instrument.
All relevant documents and records from this examination have been carefully archived at the instrument makers department, further validating the authenticity and quality of our Bashir Ouds.
